What's the difference between Hosted and On-Premise?
Hosted means we operate a dedicated CSV2GEO cluster for you on isolated hardware — you get a private endpoint, we run the patches and backups. On-Premise means we ship a Docker image and you run it inside your own VPC, data center, or air-gapped environment — nothing leaves your network. Pick Hosted if you want zero ops; pick On-Premise if you have a data-residency or air-gap requirement that hosted can't satisfy.
Do you sign BAAs for HIPAA?
Yes. We sign a Business Associate Agreement before any PHI traffic flows. The HIPAA pack includes PHI-scoped request logging, an annual security review, and named contacts on both sides. Available on both Hosted and On-Premise.
Where is my data stored?
On Hosted: pinned to the region you choose — US (Virginia / Oregon), EU (Frankfurt / Dublin), or APAC (Sydney / Tokyo). Your queries and any uploaded files stay inside that region. On On-Premise, your data never leaves your network at all — we ship the engine, you run it.
Can I run On-Premise air-gapped?
Yes. The Docker image runs without any outbound network access. Quarterly data refreshes are delivered as signed offline bundles you import on your schedule. Used by defense, healthcare, and financial-services customers.
What's the contract length?
Annual contracts for both Hosted and On-Premise. Multi-year discounts available. Hosted plans are paid annually but invoiced as one line; On-Premise is licence + setup + optional support.
Can I get a benchmark cluster before signing?
Yes — that's step 2 of our onboarding. We provision a trial cluster matched to your projected volume, you run your real workload against it, and we share latency / accuracy results with you before any commitment. Usually 2–5 business days end-to-end.
How does this compare to Google / Geoapify Enterprise / Geocodio?
Google Maps does not offer dedicated infrastructure or on-premise — it's a multi-tenant API only. Geoapify Standalone Server starts at €700/mo plus €200 setup, but is single-region and lacks SAML / audit-logs by default. Geocodio doesn't offer on-premise. CSV2GEO Hosted is the only option in this price band that ships SAML SSO, audit logs, region pinning, and a 99.9% SLA in the base plan.
What if I just want a higher API rate limit, not Enterprise?
Then you probably want our REST API tiers — the top paid plan ($604/mo) gives you 1.5M calls/day on shared infrastructure, no contract, no procurement cycle. Enterprise is for teams that specifically need dedicated infrastructure, compliance artifacts, or a data-residency guarantee.
